LoversPlanet is an online dating web site in a more traditional vein than a typical mail order bride web site. The usual online dating rules apply and you can expect to create a profile then start getting in touch with anyone whose profiles you like the look of. A decent set of features is on offer so online-wise you should be taken care of, but there are no offline services to help you go and meet a lady you have found online so we can’t recommend LoversPlanet to anyone seriously looking for a foreign bride.

LoversPlanet mainly has Eastern European and Russian ladies signed up to its site and there are thousands of detailed profiles to browse through. Before you can do so though, you will have to create your own profile and possibly upload a few pictures if you hope to attract any attention. The whole site is quite well designed which is something of a rarity amongst mail order bride web sites so was much appreciated. It’s also very easy to navigate and find the information you are looking for.

As a free member LoversPlanet allows you to send introductory emails to as many ladies as you like. You can’t say much in these, but you can at least let someone know you are interested in them. You can also view some of the replies as a free member too, which is much more than many sites allow. Handily, for any messages you  send or receive there is a translation tool provided that will automatically translate any text you put into it. However, these types of tools can’t always be completely relied on to get your message across quite as intended!

When you are ready to upgrade your membership you will find that LoversPlanet provides plenty of options to choose from. Upgrading will allow you access to things like text and video chat so that you can get to know your chosen lady a bit better. You can always rest assured that every woman has been verified by phone so she is known to be genuine and you won’t be spending your money on a scam artist. Beyond a video chat however, you will have to take things into your own hands if you want to eventually meet someone from the site. LoversPlanet don’t offer tours and trips like some sites do so everything will have to be done under your own steam.
