I have been an AFA member for over five years. In my job I travel the world, so I have a good idea of what is right or wrong, one-star, or five-star.
I recently returned from a trip to Shenzhen, China, where I stayed for a week. Here are some highlights. The prearranged airport shuttle took me to the wrong hotel. I then paid for my taxi travel. I provided the local staff with over fifty profiles of women I wanted to meet. These are women who previously contacted me. I met two of the ladies I requested. What the office staff then did is hooked me up with their friends for dates. I met five ladies at a cost of $895.00 for the seven days of personal introductions. This is in a city of ten-million people. One introduction only lasted about ten minutes. Two others were multi-event encounters. Not exactly cost effective.
The ladies from the Shenzhen office are nice, but may try to con you to see how much you will pay for translation services. They typically come to work in sweat pants and very casual clothing. I was in slacks and a button down shirt with a suit and tie on hand. The office itself is something that may give you second guesses. It is run down. The AC barely works, there are wires strung across the door, and the meeting area is also the office area. You will meet other guys in this small office waiting for dates. Comments from another guy there are similar to mine. The ladies are not available, and their photos do not reflect what they really look like.
The AFA (loveme.com) site itself is nice, but you pay for everything, and it isn't cheap! The staff will tell you that many ladies have signed the IMBRA forms. I found none after writing hundred of ladies in several countries. After I complained and demanded a refund the office staff send me the information released from a lady I was not even interested in. Sometimes I receive messages from ladies that are canned. By canned, I mean batch messages that are generic. Some even include a "Re:" in the subject line in their first message to you. Others will have some other gentleman's name in the message. Remember, you are paying for this e-mail! Some ladies will tempt you with provocative language, but then tell you they are insulted if you reply with the same.
Liz who works in the Arizona office is the person to talk to if you want to get something done. Business managers, Bud and John work for Ken Agee. None of these guys will admit to shortcomings, or fault in their business model and services. They are salesmen first.
In summary, I would not recommend Love Me to a friend.
