First thing is you need to separate fiance.com which is a US based aggregator of ladies information from all of the small agencies which feed information into fiance.com. Like most other aggregators, fiance forbids paying the girls to correspond or chat with you. Like most other sites, everyone knows the agencies do it anyway. Some girls work full time for the agency and other girls are part time. IMHO, the fact that a girl gets a little money for chatting with you does not disqualify her as a potential wife. The chat system on fiance is horrible beyond belief. The worst of all of the sites I have tried. The best feature is for $30/month (6 months) you get unlimited letters both ways. This is the best of any site I have found. I repeat, unlimited letters for $30/month. This is like match.com. You also get three minutes of free chat which is enough to see if it is the girl in the pictures.
If you are ready for an instant family, you can find some amazing women who will be more open minded than a woman without child. There are women with children who, if there were childless, would never consider a site like this. But in Ukraine, such women have few options. So, be realistic. Get the unlimited letters option. Chat sparingly. You can sort the sincere girls out over time. There are stunning girls on the site who will chat with you. Go ahead but do not expect them to date you unless you an an age appropriate match and NOT A JERK. And go to your lady(s) and meet them in person. Follow all of the standard anti-scam advice. Get your own translator. You can actually find them on the site - ask a girl with good English skills to be your translator for $50/day. Read about how to woo a Ukrainian wife. DO NOT BE A JERK.
Other points: fiance has no restrictions on exchanging contact information so you can easily move to Skype if the girl is willing. Obviously, the agencies hate that and if a girl is getting paid, she will be reluctant. Still not impossible. A serious lady will go to Skype with you if she is not using an agency computer. Some do not have the equipment or bandwidth at home to do video. Skype SMS with clownfish plugin works well.
Google image search is your friend. A lot of girls on fiance do not hide their relationship status on their social networking page. If you find a lady on fiance or any other site and connect with them on their social network page and they do not immediately block you, there may be something there. If you discover that the girl is a model, then you probably want to move on. Many girls have much better pictures on their social network page than on the dating sites.
Customer support is responsive. Some guys complain about getting charged after they deactivate. The money runs through a US based company. Just contact customer support and they will fix it. Customer support is responsive. They will eventually delete a fraudulent profile if your evidence is strong enough. One girl contacted me to complain about how often she was getting called after I reported she was not the lady in the pictures.
Some of the girls are amazingly honest. When I wrote to one girl about the dynamics of the site she responded: "it's a game of cat and mouse. Only the mouse does not need to know all the rules, so profitable day cat, but you know more than you need, I'll catch the other Mouse) But if you're satisfied with the rules, I am even more pleased."
Go into it with your eyes open. Get on the airplane. Do not focus on one lady before you go. Be prepared to meet several. Some ladies will not like that, but you are the one travelling. Go after age appropriate matches. Be open to an instant family. Keep your hand on your wallet. DON'T BE A JERK. I am convinced you will find an amazing wife.
