Apparently in 2020 they stopped paying most of the women - several I knew outside the site asked me to check the site to make sure their profiles had been removed. The site once had 60 thousand women - a few of which were serious. Some of the women on the site in 2021 date back 10 or more years and my assumption is they are probably unaware their profiles are being used. There used to be maybe 800 women online at the same time, one third with web cam. Now the site shows only a handful of women with maybe one or two with web cams. Fair assumption is that the handful that chat are what they used to call "machine girls" whose efforts pay the overhead of agencies. I have been to Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria etc. and have friends there - many who hold significant public offices who know anything that needs to be known. I also had clients who went in the early 2000s and were not impressed with the women and were required to use translators they had to pay for. Not only was that expensive but it also meant men had no real idea what women were actually saying. If you look, for example, at official USA immigration statistics you will see that although there are probably 250 thousand Ukrainian women on this and similar sites the USA (for example) gives only about 300 marriage visas per year to Ukrainians (some of which are Ukrainian men marrying USA women). With supposedly tens of thousands of women on this site you would expect thousands of "success stories" - instead there are only a handful and none recent. The one alleged success story was funny - I new the woman and while on the site had a Russian boyfriend that I learned about when he was killed in a car accident (verified in newspapers there) and when distraught she confided in me. She later married someone who I am sure was unaware that she had had a Russian boyfriend.
Slavic women are definitely attractive. The Vikings who were hired by medieval leaders (for protection) in the areas now called countries like Ukraine explains why so many women are tall and blonde. The actor/movie producer Cusack was quoted in a Sofia newspaper as saying that in a half hour in Odessa he could find women for his next ten movies. From my experience it is true. Because of free social media (VK there for example) this once successful paid dating site industry is dying and will surely eventually be gone. A great vacation after Covid ends would be in Odessa in the summer - they rent apartments on Admiral Zhukov Street in the city center - or if you like disco then the Arkadia Plaza Hotel (has clay court tennis if you are a tennis fan) near the Arkadia discos. Odessa is a romantic- if now a major tourist city. The famous Russian writer (Russia's Shakespeare) Pushkin wrote the most famous love letter in all of literature in a book called Onegin while in Odessa in January of 1824. The Black Sea beaches in Bulgaria (like Sunny Beach) are better but Odessa beaches like Otrada are okay. Definitely I recommend Odessa for romance. I have been all over the world and have some idea about Odessa's place in the world of romance. Ay Odessa!
In summary, I would not recommend Russian Love Match to a friend.
