I have been a member of Charming Brides for several years now, but off and on. In this time and especially recently since I began my search in earnest again a few months ago, the managers at the Kharkiv office have all been very helpful, particularly Elena most recently. She really seems concerned about my success in finding a nice lady! In fact I think I may have found her and I'm seriously considering traveling to Ukraine this summer to meet her. Managers in other cities I have been in contact with have also been very helpful. Although, as some of the others on this page can testify about the quality service they received on traveling to Ukraine, I haven't had this experience yet but I am confident that when I do visit they will help make my trip enjoyable!

The only issues I have are how they changed the letter writing method. Before men had to pay for letters they wrote and had the option of writing a short message (for reduced price

Some time ago I decided find a woman on those sites, after give a look to several agencies, I choosed CB among others flashy agencies. Maybe I choosed this one because in few words writen their do not promisse miracles. The time has confirmed that I wans't wrong. In the past I contacted two ladies, and always I received a punctual answer, they exists for sure. Some months ago, I contacted one more lady, and for now all is going perfect between us and soon I will visit her.

I used almost all the services offered by the agency and I am very satisfied. From these lines I want express my thankfulness to all the managers, they know how to treat you not as a customer, as a human person, always write back quickly to all the questions or doubts you may have. About translators just the same, quick, and perfectly translated, always in time and sometimes done in unexpected hours. I used video chat service, and ladies are always at the right time, so those lines from a "customer" I just do not believe a line, it seems writen by someone that only wants do bad advices, I can guess... Me and Julia met back in August 2007, we got married in 2008 and we have a beautiful daughter who is now 4.5 years old. It was the first time I had travelled overseas from Australia but I knew I had to do it to find a woman who would love me and appreciate me and who would want to have a family.  Trying to put my life back together after one unsuccessful marriage and a few attempts of trying to build relationship with women in Australia, I knew what I had to do. I planned my trip well, I saved a bit of money to allow myself to spend a month over in Ukraine in order to find my true love. I wrote to several women in advance to get to know them better as well as to learn more about Ukrainian women. I booked a package deal with Charming Brides where everything was inclusive: all day translation, accommodation, pickup from airport and drop off, meeting as many girls as I wanted, as well as a tour around Kharkov and a taxi everyday whenever I needed to get anywhere. I read the reviews on here and while most are negative, I still decided to give the agency a chance to see how they compared to another agency in Ukraine. Big mistake. After almost 14 months and a trip to Ukraine, Charming Brides agency just isn't worth it.

I started off as most guys probably do by trying to contact a few ladies on the site. After what I read from others, I thought it would be better to try for video chats instead of letter writing. Basically it was to see if the lady was really interested and make sure it was a lady and not some bloke writing letters. Well, that took far more more effort than it should have just to connect with a girl. Most of the time, the lady was not in town or available or some other reason. However, she was interested in letter writing though but that is not the same as a video chat. I asked the "personal assistants" several times about this but they always had some type of spin story as to why a lady could not do a video chat. I suggested the lady choose a date and time and... Dear men.

Regarding all the pros and cons; we must all remember that this is a business like every other business in this world. The reason this company was established was to unite people from all corners of the world.
Marriage and love go hand in hand. If you look at it from my perspective you will find this kind of business no different than any other. It is just the perspective of every individual and how they see it.
You know full well that courting someone to find love and marriage is not for free and it takes a lot of effort to convince the fairer sex that we are the ones that will make them happy secure and love for life.

We meet someone in our own countries, take them for coffee, dinner, movies, weekends away and pay for it. By using the internet is the same only that you pay for the hard work of the sites so they can find someone compatible according to profiles on the site. I have been a member of the site Charming Brides for a while and I had the opportunity to share letters, to have video chats and meeting too. The conversations on this website were real and genuine. Lot of girls sincerely looking for a husband.

Here you can have a good support, the CB managers are very helpful, available to solve problems, to exchange ideas on the Ladies, to provide clarifications, to contact the Ladies; this not a Mail Order Brides Websites where you are left to your own devices, is an Agency with staff always participating and offering a lot of services.

I consider strange that Ansastasiadate is rated the best here, really strange ....

I have been a client of Charmingbrides for a few years and I have always found excellent customer service from the client administrators who have treated me like a valued client and friend.

I have used and still do use some other sites but my experiences have been positive in regards to CB customer service.

Like any agency site, people probably need to understand that they use affiliates in other cities around Ukraine and so they cant always control who registers with there affiliates.

I have struck at times ladies that seem to be questionable when I wrote to them and my test for this was to ask them to video chat, if they made excuses then I stopped communication with them as obviously there is something wrong there.
The best course of action would be to perhaps visit there main office in Kharkov so they would take personal care of you, else you will be looked after by other affiliates in other cities.
I visited Ukraine twice with Charmingbrides, while I did not go to Kharkov they were always personally in contact with me while I was in the other city and I always felt that if I had a problem they would... (Read the full review)

I first started using Cb's services in 2004, letter writing etc. The first time I went to Ukraine was during May 2005. I went to meet one woman only. I was taken from Kiev to Kharkov by taxi and I was personally met at my apartment by Olga, a few hours after I arrived. Olga personally planned my activities for the 2 weeks I visited Kharkov and I had a wonderful time. Although my relationship with this particular girl only lasted 3 years, we are still in regular contact and we usually meet for food when I visit Kharkov which is 12 times since 2005!. I met my wife while visiting in 2007 and we were married in 2011. She is certainly real enough. I have used most of the services offered by CB over the years, translations, taxis, event bookings, airline flights, gift delivery, translators etc etc etc. The staff have always been very professional and CB has always offered good value for money. That said, Ukraine is not a supermarket for a wife and there is zero guarantee that you date will like you. Guys, this is the real world. The staff in the office in Kharkov are... Despite my better judgement I opted in for an adventure. Three dates later I find that I pretty much know how this works.

You pay the bureau for meeting the girl. Compared to what a normal monthly wage is here that sum is absolutely monstrous. Unless there is a translator. Then half of the money the translator gets goes to the agency. And the translators hourly wage is huuuuuge compared to ordinary salaries here. Notice the tendency. We are cash cows.

As stated I met three girls and I conclude that this is very much for the money all the way around. Apart from the cash cow naturally. We go muuuh with glazed eyes. One of the girls completely lost interest after my response to her asking which diamond ring she should buy. I told her which one without indicating that I would pay for it. Shortly after she called for a taxi.

And btw do not believe that age doesn't matter. The bureau convinced me that wasn't a problem despite again my better judgement. Diamond girl was such a one.
