I have been a member of several US dating sites and 4 Russian and Ukrainian sites. I met 3 girls (all very impressive) and am now happily married to a beautiful woman I met through LoversPlanet. I am also "helping" a friend with the process. Within a year he will be a happily married American, too.

Some sites are designed to suck money out of their customers. I appreciate the fact that they are trying to make a profit, but that gets pretty annoying. Other sites are very good at flashing lots of beautiful photos to keep you drooling.

In my experience, LoversPlanet is the easiest to use and it has no extra charges. Once you are a member, it is easy to read about the girls and communicate with them.

My story: I was on Match.com (US) and one day I got an email from a Russian. The correspondence went great, lots of photos, but all through direct email. Match.com was just how they found me. This turned out to be a scam. I sent $2,400 for a plane ticket and visa and that was the end. I had half way suspected a scam and my secretary agreed with me but... (Read the full review)
