I have used this website before. Based on my experience with them, there are pluses and minuses, read all of it then decide yourself. Keep in mind when I say "SOME", I do not mean "ALL". There is a difference.

The good news and bad news about this site
First the good news....
1) You can write to many woman as possible per month, without a per letter fee. You are able to receive some quick responses.
2) It is inexpensive to use as a member.

Now the bad news...
1) Fiance.com poses a the middle man, or the search engine in searching for the type of lady you are looking for.

2) The ladies are already have marriage agencies they deal with helping them look for a gentlemen. It's the agencies that headhunt for prostive men to match them up with their ladies. A sort of win-win, as the agencies want men to
spend their money on their site.

3) Caveat emptor! Let the buyer beware! There are number of scammers posing as marriage agencies or independant ladies looking for unsuspecting men to come take their money with promises of meeting. Some "agencies" do not have real offices or a street address. Just a name and email address. No one man can just be a walk-in to these types of places and ask to look for a bride. These "agencies" will never give you their street or mailing address either.

4) Caveat emptor #2 - again. Some of ladies are men posing as women. You have to use your own head of judgement than your heart or penis to do the thinking for you. Beware of letters from woman who do not remember your last letter and get the continuity of your letter all wrong. If your lady really cared about you,she would remember all the letters you wrote.

5) Caveat emptor #3 - yes again. Some of the ladies are real but they do not speak English. EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY SPEAK IT, some or fluently. If they are affliated with the agency, there is someone at the agency writing all their letters FOR them. Which means that ladies in their agency do not really get to read or hear about your letters. Some writers have a set number of letter templates when they write to men. They do know what what form letter to send to. In fact, even after you sent your first or second letter to the lady, they know what your second or third letter will be. How or why? Because
men are so typical and predictable, they know what you're going to say.

There is also creative writers in work pools that, will write to you in a matter that will lead you to continue to write to them. The more they write letters, the more they get paid per letter. So in other words, you are their paycheck at the end of each week.

The city of Mariupol is notorious for having agencies that have a department of writers specifically to write to Western and Middle-Eastern men. Giving you zero results in finding a bride.

6) Fiance.com swears to the truth that all the ladies who post on their website are legitamit. When asked if they ever do background check to validate that the ladies are good and not scammers, you can hear the crickets from their reply. They cannot or wont gaurentee it.

They in one letter they have sent to me directly, they said they are not responsible for postings of ladies ad's created by the agencies or the independent ladies. Rather bizarre to me, when they say they do validations of all ladies.

7) In some of their Forums posting, if you care to read it all, you can see a few posts where the Administer of the website is verbally screeming at members for asking radom questions. Not cool.

8) They can close your profile at anytime without reason. From some of the men who have complained about them, the Admins on the site would make weird alligations and reasoning for closing out their account. Taking into consideration that there are some pretty creepy men out there in the world,
there are some legit men who got some odd letters from the people that run that site.

9) Most importantly, at times that you may not notice (and its not your fault)You fall prey to the cycle where you could be writing letters all the time.
If say, you write to 50 women and 45 woman may reply back, thats 45 letters you have to spend time at your computer to write back to on an on-going basis. That is intended to be a time and money waster. Which will get you no results
until you really, really, really made up your mind in deciding on just one lady out of the many to correspond with.

10) Yes, its true. Customer service does suck there. If you forgot your user-id or password, dont hold your breath to long to get it reset. Or get credit for a letter that a lady said she didnt recieve.

I will close with a little shed of light. There are good agencies and ladies out there. BUT it takes a lot of work to weed the few good ones from many bad ones out there.

If you are going to use Fiance.com, do not spend a lot of time on there. Give yourself a cut off point. If no results or its too much trouble - bail out,and just move on.

In summary, I would not recommend Fiance to a friend.
