First thing is you need to separate fiance.com which is a US based aggregator of ladies information from all of the small agencies which feed information into fiance.com. Like most other aggregators, fiance forbids paying the girls to correspond or chat with you. Like most other sites, everyone knows the agencies do it anyway. Some girls work full time for the agency and other girls are part time. IMHO, the fact that a girl gets a little money for chatting with you does not disqualify her as a potential wife. The chat system on fiance is horrible beyond belief. The worst of all of the sites I have tried. The best feature is for $30/month (6 months) you get unlimited letters both ways. This is the best of any site I have found. I repeat, unlimited letters for $30/month. This is like match.com. You also get three minutes of free chat which is enough to see if it is the girl in the pictures.

You pay a membership, then they turn around and ask you for a fee to send an email.

I have used this site for a while now ,but I ma not very happy most of the women that write to you are not on the site for the right reasons all they ever want to do is for you to keep writing keeping you on the site as long as possible so you keep renewing. Also when you choose to cancel after your trial they keep on extending your time on the site so you end up paying for another month.Time after time I have cancelled only to find out it just keeps taking your monthly payments. I believe this site is a fix and is run by dishonest people .Whenever I right and complain they just say they cannot find my details funny how they find my bank account details every month

Not a bad site. Buy the premium package so you only spend $30.000 per month or so. You can send unlimited photos to women you meet. I am a photographer, so it is a really good way to get them interested. Most women are younger, under age 35. If you are over 45 or so, chances of finding someone are less. Almost all women are from Ukraine, and from the smaller cities in Ukraine. Expect some delays to your emails, as many women do not have internet at home. Possible for a fee on the site to have a videochat with the women, and a translator present so you talk with her. I have not availed myself of this feature yet. I have not actually been to Ukraine yet to meet any women from this site, but I am talking to three prospects. None have tried to scam me out of any money in over a year of membership. I signed up for premium membership at around $30 per month. After contacting the women I was interested in (and paying $8 a time for the privilege) I received an email saying my account was suspended - no reason given.

I can only imagine it was due to the fact that when writing my letters I included my email address but this is not against the terms of the membership.

I wasn't able to reach the site by phone and my email asking for an explanation remains unanswered.

I definitely would NOT recommend this site.

I have used this website before. Based on my experience with them, there are pluses and minuses, read all of it then decide yourself. Keep in mind when I say "SOME", I do not mean "ALL". There is a difference.

The good news and bad news about this site
First the good news....
1) You can write to many woman as possible per month, without a per letter fee. You are able to receive some quick responses.
2) It is inexpensive to use as a member.

Now the bad news...
1) Fiance.com poses a the middle man, or the search engine in searching for the type of lady you are looking for.

2) The ladies are already have marriage agencies they deal with helping them look for a gentlemen. It's the agencies that headhunt for prostive men to match them up with their ladies. A sort of win-win, as the agencies want men to
spend their money on their site.

3) Caveat emptor! Let the buyer beware! There are number of scammers posing as marriage agencies or independant ladies looking for unsuspecting men to come take their money with promises of meeting. Some "agencies" do not have real offices or a street... (Read the full review)

I have joined this site and I can tell you that it isnt all that fantastic

1. I sent a message to customer service about cancelling my membership-what the process involves and got no reply

2. Its projected images are ethnically imbalanced as though a joy-filled relationship can occur with just one race/ethnicity

3. It has a forum for chatting and discussing issues but let me tell you I have found racial prejudice from members of the site on the forum and other prejudiced opinions on the site's forum. The forum has some legitimacy but has a lot of error mixed in with it as well that one has to sift through!

The site does have claim to have seen "connections" made with women and men but there is a lot of mixture on the site and I ageee with the previous reviewer in all that was previously said!

In summary, I would not recommend Fiance to a friend.

All i can say, i paid for their services, they have no customer service, they ignore your messages and their membership functions don't work. i am trying to cancel my membership through their control panel, it replies to me that my membership is invalid. stay away from this site guys.
