I have used Dream Marriage for a couple of months. I believe that some of it is legit, but as another reviewer said, they are there to make money, as are many of the women. I would suggest that someone who was seriously interested in actually meeting or marrying one, to first look at the profiles and read them carefully. Be realistic. If you are an older guy, as I am, look for profiles of women closer to your age. There are some very attractive older women, who are divorced, widowed, etc., and when they write, their letters are much more grounded, realistic and seem to indicate a more legitimate search on their part. Save the profiles and photos in individual folders on your HD or thumb drive, so that you can go back to them often without going to the site. Then pick a few to write to, and hope that they are really looking to. Some of them are, especially the older women, who also are often professional and not disco girls.

I had a few conversations going with very young woman, 18-20, but I was not interested in getting involved with them. They were playful and mischievous and so I sort of felt like giving them advice, about men, not putting off a good career to pursue marriage, etc. And as fun as it was to write to them, it is far too expensive. Better off to place an ad in a Ukraine paper for a pen pal or find another site just for that.

The woman's videos are very short and not very good. They are useful only for confirming that they are real, that they tend to match their photos, mostly, but are expensive. I'd say, don't bother unless you have someone you really want to confirm and continue with. And live chat is probably a waste of time unless you are fluent in Russian.

If I were to start over, I would cruise the profiles and then save the profiles of ones I am interested in as PDF files in individual folders, with their photos too. Then take a basic membership and write to some of them. Get specific and see if you get specific answers in response. Save the email responses in a folder with their profiles and photos. That way you can compare emails and see if there is the duplication I note further down in this review. Email resposnes back to them is very expensive, but if you have money to burn, I think there is a chance of being successful.

Here is a disturbing example from two letters I received within a few days of each other, with almost identical text, that I wrote to the site administrators about. I took an interest in and spent money writing to them. I do not include the entirety of each letter, but as you can see, the passages are identical except for a few small variations, the addition of "father" and the dropping of "here" in the top one. Other than that the passages are identical.

FIRST LETTER:

"I am happy to have my mom, father and we always spend a good time together especially when my sister comes. We always have lots of fun, laugh a lot. We never have any argues and try to understand each other in any situation and support. My sister has her own business here and she is also looking for man abroad as she split up with her man .
And how did you spend your weekend?
I will be waiting for your response.
Fondly
Viktoria."

SECOND LETTER:

"I am happy to have my mom and we always spend a good time together especially when my sister comes. We always have lots of fun, laugh a lot. We never have any argues and try to understand each other in any situation and support. My sister has her own business here and she is also looking for man abroad as she split up with her man here.
And how did you spend your weekend?
So, have a good day and hope to talk soon.
Fondly

Dream Marriage gave an inadequate explanation; as it was pointed out, they are there to make money. I didn't bother to try to get a refund as I wanted to write to the few women I thought were genuine to tell them I am leaving the site and to try to give them hints to steer them to my facebook page. The site filters for mentions of Skype, Facebook, personal email addresses, etc.

As a photographer with Photoshop skills, I will also say that many of the women's breasts in the photos are enhanced. Look as at many photos as you can and try to average them out.

My final advice, it might be worth it if you are careful, preview many profiles first, pick a few and then hope that they are on looking for a real relationship, not just to make money. Going to Ukraine, St. Petersburg or Latvia yourself might be the best way. Have the US Embassy help you to find a reliable on the ground female translater, etc. And remember, getting married is not so easy.

I had a friend who married a Latvian woman here in the USA, and they gave up on getting her green card after years of run arounds by our paranoid police-security state.

I would recommend trying the site, with reservations. Be smart, and use your critical intuition. Good luck.

I gave the site a final ONE STAR rating; could be two stars.

In summary, I would recommend Dream Marriage to a friend.
