You will see lots of reviews for this site stating it is a scam and it is this or that, but really guys come on, lets have a little dose of reality here. Who's fault it is really if you spent tens of thousands of dollars chasing after some beautiful 18-20 year old girl when you are 50+ and life has not endowed with the looks of Brad Pitt or any good looks at all?

The reality is that a vast majority of these girls are paid by the local agencies to chat to guys as has been mentioned time and time again in a lot of these reviews. That does not mean you can cannot charm one of them into a relationship, it just means you will have to work really hard to do so and it is going to cost you a lot (I know of two guys that have managed to do that) although the age gap was closer to the 10-15 years. And yes the agencies tried to stop the girls leaving or giving personal contact details, you just need to be a little inventive. About 10-20% of the girls on these sites would really like to meet someone.

Once you have accepted that, the next thing you have to accept is you are not going to get much change from $20,000 by the time you factor in months of chatting to lots of girls to find one that might be interested in you and then airfares to visit them.

Rule one has to be ask yourself WHY would she be interested in you? If you cannot answer that move on.

Rule two has to be is she working regular hours here (hint the key word is working)?

Rule three is the age gap reasonable
10 years ok it can work
15 years yes ok still possible
20 years ok now it is getting unlikely
20+ years come on really?

Rule four does she speak your language? or do you speak Russian/Ukrainian? Yes the agency will happily provide a translator, but it takes a LONG time to learn a new language and hold down a job so do you want a translator there on your wedding night? come on a little reality please. A good relationship requires good communication and that does not happen when you do not speak the same language.

Rule five has to be go visit her! Chat for a month or so and then get off your ass and visit her its the only way you will really know if she really is genuine. If she gives you lots of excuses why she cannot meet move on.

Now if you can accept all that and you still want to try your luck, just remember to smell the coffee and take a good dose of reality every now and again! Oh and keep and eye on your bank balance and it will be a lot lower than you expected.... Maybe just maybe you will find a nice girl on one of these so called marriage sites, but do remember it will take a huge amount of effort and money and your chances of success are far from guaranteed.

In summary, I would not recommend Dream Marriage to a friend.
