I am an average everyday American guy, I grew up in southern United States. I have dated quite a few women in the US, and talked to a bunch in other countries that I had met through dating websites and chat rooms. I joined Dream Marriage a few years ago. At first it was just something to pass the time. I got a kick out of it. But honestly at the time I was getting dates with women in the United States so I never spent any money there to talk to any of the girls. It's just an ego boost getting all of the emails at first. I am a man of modest middle income means. I have a house and a nice truck. And have allot going for me but not rich by any means.

Then about two years ago while dating another American girl and realizing the relationship wasn't going to lead to any long term commitment. I got the idea of what would my perfect girl look like. You have to take into account looks, personality, and interest. After I had formulated what I would want my perfect wife to look like. I went searching on Dream Marriage just to see if there was such a person that had the same interests as me and the physical looks that I am most attracted too. This was thinking with the head on my shoulders not the between my legs. And I can say that I have found this girl in the Ukraine.

I first sent out a few flirts to girls I was interested in. And I got a few letters back. But one caught my attention. At first we just exchanged letters on the site every few days not allot. But then after my relationship in with the girl in the US finally ended I decided to get serious about the girl in the Ukraine. We chatted a few times in the site and exchanged yet more letters. About 8 months into it I bought her contact information. Which admittedly she told me it was old she had moved apartments changed email address's and phone numbers. since she had set up her profile there. But gave me her personal email address anyway since I had paid for her contact information. There I was able to get all of her personal information and then some. Soon we dropped Dream Marriage all together and started making plans for me to come to visit.

I quit my job in the states and took a job in Afghanistan to be able to pay for my trip. Plus with my job here I got to spend more than just two weeks. I am able to visit often every few months and spend a few weeks there at a time.

But due to circumstances beyond her control she has ended up in the hospital with Tuberculosis. I can say she is real just like the pictures. But not so air brushed, but the girls are real there. And yes there are thousands of beautiful women there even in the small little towns. I can honestly say, I have met 4 girls there from Dream Marriage. And All have been real and the exact person in the picture. So yes what you see is what you get. But guys honestly all you have to do is stick to your age group. If she is over 15 years older or younger than you. Your probably not going to get along that great. The translator I was set up with took care of me well booking me an apartment and meeting me at the airport. Just keep an open eye, and realize that not everyone in the world is out to screw you over. I would say just keep your head out of the clouds and eyes open

If your headed to the Simferopol region of Crimea, I can give you the name of a good and honest translator. That can help you plan your trip and keep you out of trouble. I can say the food there, is beyond better than anything you will ever find at most any restaurant in the US. The Ukraine can bring you a new meaning to fresh. But don't expect a cold drink anytime soon. And I hope you like fruit juice because they drink allot of it. And usually after you order, they start squeezing the fruit.

I can say my over all experience has been good. 20 dollars an hour is the going rate for a translator. But the only time I have had a huge bill from that is when I spent the hole day with my girlfriends mom seeing the sites. Which I could have probably done through with a travel agency. But her mom wanted to give me a personal tour of a few select places to see in Crimea. Learn the exchange rate before you go and memorize it. Because your going to have to calculate in your head on the go. I still have a hard time doing that. But at the same time the apartments they book me have internet access. And so I monitor my bank accounts daily while I am there to watch how much I am spending in US dollars. And at least learn a couple of Russian or Ukrainian words like yes, no, thank you. a little research before you travel would go a long way. Even ask the girl your talking too. After all your going to have to feel like your trusting her with your life at first. Now after three trips there it is not that big of a deal. But my first trip was scary as hell. I even went with an international cell phone service just in case I needed to get out quick. Thankfully it was not needed.

In summary, I would recommend Dream Marriage to a friend.
