I had very similar experiences in my trip to Ukraine through Dream-Marriage. There are some great ladies here, but the administration and their satellite agencies make it so difficult to find success, that when all is said and done, truly (based on their own statements (you have to do the math)) only .001% of men who try this site find success. Success is defined here as finding a woman you will marry. I did meet all of the girls that I corresponded with on my trip. They all seemed excited to meet me, made all of their dates (although every one of them was 30 minutes late, every time). They were pleasant. Two of them looked as they appeared on the site, the other two weren't even close. Don't forget to add 10 kilos (22 lbs.) for most of the women, and if you are really going to go through with this, make sure you get her "real life" photos right away, and spend the money to video chat ASAP, then you can see them live. And unlike many, many site, here the women are real, they are often either unmotivated to really make the huge jump to another culture, or they are misrepresenting themselves in myriad ways. They often use old photos on the site, and the professional photos the site uses are HEAVILY photoshopped. It is a little bit of a soft porn site, where they show everything but the woman's nipples, anus and genitalia. Makes for very nice viewing, and many wonderful fantasies, but... Each of the girls lied to me in ways that would have excluded them from my search had I known, and none of them were really ready to move to another culture. They also ended up working during my visit after promising that they would take the time off. Two of them promised we would have a sexual relationship when I visited and then avoided that completely. For the record, they each stated that i looked better in person than in my photos (in case you were wondering if they suddenly didn't find me attractive). One of them eventually tried to scam me for money, and one "soft scammed" me for expensive meals, etc.. I am also pretty sure she also had an arrangement with the agency for a percentage of the take regarding translation and other services. The real evil (if you accept my definition of evil as lying, cheating, stealing and creating a false persona for the purpose of exploitation) here lies in the agencies and to some degree the administration. Well, the entire culture as a matter of fact, and this site, Dream-Marriage is an astonishing mirror image of the culture. Forget taking responsibility for ANYTHING. The incidents of one form of fraud or another are off the chain, and these guys amaze in their ability to turn their incompetency and failures onto you. Duplicity is a good word for how they handle their business. I came to believe they actually intentionally work against you and your relationship to their ladies. This is not a joke. Once you get deep enough into the system, or far enough along in a relationship strange things start to happen. And you know what happens after you are actually traveling in the FSU. You are on your own, pal... They make a minimal effort to support you and, after paying $300.00 (including credits requirement) for the contact information of a lady, the information is inevitably inaccurate and ultimately useless. You end up having to pay more to continue communicating to these ladies through the site (that you just paid a bunch to be free from!)

Once you are screwed (stop me if you have heard this one before) the administration will blame YOU, and literally tell you "sorry" and guess what, you are on your own. So if you don't mind paying a bunch of money for services and information that you don't REALLY receive, you are their guy! And if you really, really like promises that are never kept or fulfilled, this is the site for you. Enjoy!

In summary, I would not recommend Dream Marriage to a friend.
