I'm not entirely sure what most of the one star raters were expecting. Back in the day, mingling with women from foreign would not even be an option unless you happen to have jet money or you don't mind waiting weeks for snail mail correspondences. All the international dating services I've tried AnasDate, RussDate and the like pretty much do the same thing offered the same way only presented differently.
I've been on Dream-Marriage for about 4 months now and all's fair in love and war. Sure there are some dodgy girls. Tends to happen when you go after something too good to be true, but for the most part, the Ukrainian girls are sweethearts. The video chat is the key. All women know how to angle, paint and snap a picture. There's no hiding on video though. You can tell pretty quick if she is who she says she is and whether or not she is trying to make an effort to start something serious.
I'm on Dream-Marriage mostly because I figure it's not completely overrun with yuppies, who attract the money grubbers. The prices are a bit high, but whenever I have a problem I just let customer service have it and they have been pretty good about accommodating. To all the vets and newbs to online dating of the international sort, I say give Dream-Marriage a try. You'll find out whether it's cut our for you or not. Me, I hope to go to Ukraine in person sometime soon.
In summary, I would recommend Dream Marriage to a friend.
