Their website will at first appear informative and genuine, but it's all a facade. It's a business to get your money, and once they have it, their customer service is quite poor. Also, don't be fooled by the number of "employees" pictured on the website. There are only two girls working in a small office. Brett was nowhere to be found.

I signed up for their Matchmaker service and was disappointed to say the least. Tanya, the letter forwarding manager is a nice girl, but Veronika who runs the Matchmaker service is terribly rude.

My biggest complaints are as follows:

1. Most of the women I met gave me the feeling they were there just for a free meal or they were getting some kind of kick back for meeting me. At one point, even the translator confided in me that there are a lot of women who brag about how many dinners and gifts they can get out of these foreign men. She actually told me this!

2. Many of the personal introductions would include the phrase, "this is so and so and she will need $40 for her cab". This an awkward moment when you are first introduced to someone and you didn't know you would be paying for her cab ahead of time. Not to mention, she doesn't look like her pictures and suddenly you're in for another $40.

3. There was one meeting I had where the woman didn't look ANYTHING like her picture. I could not even recognize this woman from her photos. I told Tanya I believed they had sent the wrong girl, but she was convinced it was the right girl. I was also told that Veronika would call me back and a refund would be made. Never heard from Veronika ever again and never got my refund.

Kiev Connections is just a business to get your money and will not deliver. Stay away from them!!!

In summary, I would not recommend Kiev Connections to a friend.
