I was a member for a year & was told I was one of the most popular males receiving about 120 emails/day. While there is a small percent of women honestly looking for a husband, for most, these sites are nothing more than a distraction for them. There is such a discrepancy between eligible males & females in Russia or Ukraine, that these sites have become a way for the girls to feel wanted &/or needed. They love the attention and in time, the site become an addiction to most of the really pretty girls, morphing into an obsession where they would never exchange personal contact information with the male members LET ALONE, leave there country to marry a man. While they will write how much they love or need you, ask them to do an "intimacy request" (where the couple can correspond OFF the site), and they come up with a 100 excuses not to, i.e. "I feel safe here", or "I have a lot of friends here", or "I don't speak English well enough". Even though there is translation software to use for Yahoo or Google chat, they still make excuses. Two times women did approve the intimacy request, yet they only would correspond ON THE SITE where it cost about 50 cents per minute.

One last thing. The owners of these sites will allow women to write, say or post just about anything of a sexual nature because they realize that this will entice men to join. Yet for men, they monitor us closely because so-called laws that are suppose to prevent these sites from being pornographic in nature. I watched women masturbate or expose themselves on the camera then write very explicit comments. When I would reply in kind, I would get warned. My point is that they want the girls to be very suggestive to draw in more males, yet when we do, we are warned or even banned from the site. After having spent over $10,000 in about 14 months, I was banned without any warning. When I tried to explain myself, they wouldn't listen.

My suggestions are these: ask for "intimacy request" after about a month of corresponding with a girl, and if she refuses, move on (if she keeps an open mind about this & sounds sincere, then give her another month or so); if the girl is logged into the site more than 2 or 3 hours a day, move on...she is just a player and is addicted to the site; check to see if the girl you like is on more than one site, and if she is, move on; if a girl asks for some sort of gift to prove you like her, such as flowers or English lessons prior to intimacy request, move on; if you feel a girl is fake or used you, try and get your credits back for the time spent chatting with her!

Finally, realize how expensive this investment is to you because that is what it is. To become married to an educated, young, beautiful woman is every man's dream BUT it is expensive. By the time the dust settles, it will cost you (for chat fees, email fees, gifts, English lessons, flying to her, hotel fees, taxi, entertainment, flying back home, paying for her Fiancee Visa, paying for her to move to your country, etc.) as much as $20,000. If she has a child, that much more. Good luck

In summary, I would not recommend Dream Marriage to a friend.
