Russian Cupid

I have been a member for over one year. First, the good. Many members, easy to make contact with the women. Site does a very good job of acting on reports of scammers. The bad: countless scammers. I have personally reported and had removed at least a dozen scammers. Site allows women to place a profile without a photo. Beware of these, as often it is some guy operating out of Africa. Watch out when you get an IM message on the site; often it is from a "woman" whose profile has no photo. Ask the person sending you the IM if they are from Ghana or Nigeria. Almost always they say yes, and then hang up. Report this as abuse to the site, and the site will remove them. Site does a good job of removing reported scammers, but does not screen women who place a profile there. Also, there is some kind of security breach on this site. I will log on for awhile, and then, sure enough, I get several emails from women who are not on the site. Naturally, when I check the email address, the woman is on an anti-scammer website. I give this site... (Read the full review)

Hit a lotto has a greater chance as to find someone here!!!!

So, after 1 month my experience: The site itself is good, the idea, layout and the design. No problem here. The REAL problem is that they allow every fake person to register. I reported every day at least 20 fake pictures, profiles. I'm tired already that they "first class, anti scam measurements" are non existent. I got 100 emails, about 300 interests, i checked 1100 profiles and send out many messages, interests. About 3 turned out to be true. I was looking for a girl from 18 to 30 years, without kids. So maybe if you look for someone older, like 45 with 2 kids, maybe you gonna have better chances.... I don't know. My experience was really bad, waste of the time and money. They have zillions of members, but most of them are fake (i think about 80% from my age). I got every day dozens of interests, messages from scammers, ghana scammers and scammers from all over the world. Nobody was real and ready to give Skype address, nobody had a camera or had access to the Internet cafe or anything else. Just automated messages every time, even when my reply was "Go and %^&* yourself, you... (Read the full review)

RussianCupid - a huge automated bulletin board

I have been a paying member of RussianCupid for some years (since it was RussianEuro) and, in general, I haven't had too many complaints to their organization and work. Technically, it's very reliable service, but it's far from being a perfect service.

They allow non-registered users to browse profiles. It's great! There are some limitations, but it's quite well for the beginning, to see what you can expect. If you want more, you need to register. That's perfectly right. Membership fees are reasonable, although the only logical, economical choice would be the Platinum membership on annual basis. The Platinum status gives the most for requested money - that's sure. Their database of members is huge. That's the point problems begin to appear. They have no mechanism to separate genuine people from scammers of any kind. They don't offer any guarantee that you are about to contact a real woman who really wants to find a life partner. Right, several weeks ago they started to verify members' profiles. However, members aren't obligated to verify their profiles, that's only an option. I have met only 2 (two) women's profiles being marked as verified since they started that process by today, July 4th, 2011.

I have met a couple of real girls but for every 1 you meet you meet 10 fakes, if their country is anything other than Russia such as Italy or America they are fakes and the site knows this but continues to let them sign on

This sums up the site

RussianEuro - a scam nest
17 February 2011
Reviewer: Disappointed from Europe

I have been a paying member of this site for a few days. The first ten minutes felt great - several "women" with incredibly beautiful pictures on their profiles expressed an interest in me. Strangely enough, when we start writing, none of these persons write any single word that has any connection to my profile or country of origin, and they all ask for my e-mail address. I now realize that this is a giant spam nest.

The administrators of the site seem to try to fight the problem. I have reported about a dozen "women" who use e-mail addresses listed in scam warning sites, and at least some of the profiles have been removed, but there are huge numbers left.

Registering at this site is a waste of time. Paying for a membership is a waste of money.

In summary, I would not recommend Russian Cupid to a friend.

Russian Euro

I used RussianEuro for 30 days thought it was a good site. Sure there are some scammers working but if you cannot see that a girl with supermodel looks who fills out the bare minimum on her profile is fake, well then, you are an idiot.
I chatted with a few nice ladies and found someone who shares my dreams and we are meeting in a month in London. So overall, worked for me.

In summary, I would recommend Russian Cupid to a friend.

Russian Euro

Reviewer: Urbifal from Paris, France

My name is Urbifal, I live in Paris.

I have been registered in Russian Eros for one year now. This meeting site is honest and normal.

Why honest ?

Because you pay some 140 $ for a year and you have the possibility to receive and send all the letters you want. The deal is clear and under your responsibility. You are a grown up. Don't complain to be considered as such.

Why normal ?

Because a great many scamers go there. Sometimes they stay, duly registered. Some other times they appear during two or three hours, time for them to send a great number of letters to registered members, then, disappear. Russian Eros tries to get them out, but do not succeed completely. It is the game. It can't be otherwise and it's clear.

Among duly registered members, there are many scamers too. It's easy to check a scamer, uneasy to check an honest girl.

Don't forget : The golden triangle for scaming industry is Cheboksary, Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, plus, of course, Saint-Petersburg and Moscow.

Sincerely yours, good luck !

In summary, I would recommend Russian Cupid to a friend.
