I have been on this site for 4 years. I thought I would find what I was looking for, but now I like to play the game. These women are here for the money. I have talk to some who are honest...very few will ever be honest, but I caught a woman in a big lie, when she is on different website, and she explained how the site works. The women are paid to talk. The more they talk or write letters, the more they make. They are given scripts for different letterS, and sometime I get the same letter from different women.
The best woman on this site is Aliona (1994626) from Sumy. She speak very good english and says she teaches english. I met her. She is married and is here to make money.

In summary, I would not recommend Dream Marriage to a friend.

First of all, I am grateful to this site for providing other members' feedback so you can learn more before you join a site. Well, I got sick and tired of awful dates,career-oriented, opinionated ladies, (if y'all know what I mean). I just wanted a nice lady with old fashioned life values. You'd think it's not too much to ask, but try dating a modern woman in America and you'll see, man it's tough to come by these days!

So, I heard a friend of mine if going to bring his fiancee from the Ukraine to Austin. At first I did not think he was that serious, but after I saw her photos man, he's a one lucky bastard!

I myself started entertaining the idea of trying international dating, but based on the inconsistency of the reviews I saw here, I was quite hesitant to join any international dating sites. But I finally gave up
after having another first date with a lady who looked nothing like her photo when we met and talked about her exes half the date.

I have been a member of Dream Marriage for almost 2 years now. In the beginning it was hard to believe these beautiful girls were real but after a few months of using the website and tons on messages I found a few girls I was really interested in talking to. I can say we've been corresponding for a while, sharing our memories and discussing different things (even politics!). Last summer I visited Odessa (the trip was great, Ukranian food is fantastic!) and finally met one of the girls- Elena. Her English was not good enough so we used an interpreter for better understanding. She was even more beautiful than on the pictures and appeared to be a very nice and honest personality. We now plan to meet again somewhere in the Caribbean in March and hopefully I can invite her to visit me in Boston next summer.
I hope Elena and I can build a happy family in the future. Good luck to everybody else.

Girls are being paid for chat: 0.12 USD per minute for ordinary chat , 0.24 USD per minute for video chat, 1 USD for answering the letter. As far as I know there is a limit to 0.36 USD per minute for chat if a girl chats to few men at the same time, but still it's a lot of money, over 20 USD per hour. Quite good wages even for America. No girl will confess that she is being paid, just because they don't want to lose admirers. Wast majority of women here are to make money and not to find love. Whats even worst that instead of real girl you could be chatting to local marriage agency employee and the real girl would appear on video chat only once a month. If you need proof you can google yourself for Russian or Ukrainian forum sites where local marriage agencies, representatives of Dreammarriage.com and other Russian mail order bride sites, discuss their business.

Hello,

I first started using DM when I was in Afghanistan. With the slow internet connection we had after getting shot at on a mission in a village controlled by Taliban it was nice to come back to my small camp of 150 soldiers and be able to talk to someone.

I had met a girl named Olga who lived in Vinnitsa and we communicated for 6 month. I lived in Italy at the time and I actually didn't decide to visit her when I moved back to the U.S.. I did not do it through the website as I had made plans outside the website, and she even thought it would be a good idea to do that. Anyways I arrived in Ukraine, and her brother-in-law picked me up and gave me a ride from Kiev, because she could not get off work, very nice guy. She met me at the hotel and it was amazing to finally meet the girl I have been talking to for a long time. Anyways long story short, a trip that I thought would be an amazing trip, turned into a not so fun trip.

I am about to pull my hair out when I think how naive and dumb I have been to fall for this ( dream marriage site ) 20 year old girls fall in love with you and they say that age does not matter and only love matters. She has not even seen me or talked to me but she is already in love with me. In a matter of 2 months I spent 2184 dollars. Answering letters ( after a certain quota each letter costs 10 credits = $ 5.25. So, I wrote 20 letters to a lady that is equal to = 10.50. Then I asked for personal info ( 60 credits = 31.50 dollars ). And it is fake. You call the number and it is always busy. I asked for the personal contact info of 4 of the ladies = 126 dollars for fake phone numbers. These agency and the site have no intention of getting a man and a woman together. It is just to rip off men from North America and Europe. I for one spent 2184 dollars in 2 months. Chat and letters. I feel like a fool. Their evil knows no bounds.... (Read the full review)

You will see lots of reviews for this site stating it is a scam and it is this or that, but really guys come on, lets have a little dose of reality here. Who's fault it is really if you spent tens of thousands of dollars chasing after some beautiful 18-20 year old girl when you are 50+ and life has not endowed with the looks of Brad Pitt or any good looks at all?

The reality is that a vast majority of these girls are paid by the local agencies to chat to guys as has been mentioned time and time again in a lot of these reviews. That does not mean you can cannot charm one of them into a relationship, it just means you will have to work really hard to do so and it is going to cost you a lot (I know of two guys that have managed to do that) although the age gap was closer to the 10-15 years. And yes the agencies tried to stop the girls leaving or giving personal contact details, you just need to be a little inventive. About 10-20% of the girls on these sites would really like to... Guys, please be aware that most of the letters you receive are written by a secretary in the agency. Please understand that most of these girls are receiving more than one hundred letters a day from many different countries. Do you think the girl has time to read all of these letters each day. She has a job, da. Also most of the guys who write these letters will never show up in the Ukraine. So the agency handles the girls letters for her. I have witnessed this many times in my more than 20 visits to the Ukraine. There is a very high probability you are having a relationship with a secretary in the agency. My friend wrote more than seventy letters to a girl and she did not write one of the seventy responses. Also please be aware that some of the video chat could be a recording of a girl sitting in front of a camera. Always ask your girl to wave hello to you or touch her nose. Some Girls maybe 10% are real! D.M. will try any way to get your Money. There last Idea is when you finally Travel to meet a girl even if she speaks English the Agency has a rule 2 hours Minimum with a Translator with Agency @ $45.00 per hour. $1 to schedule a girl to chat. Do not even think about asking a girl for her Information without spending $600 on chat and letters or Spending $2,000 on all services. This is a Gold Card Agency with With PPV Results.

I have read a lot of the reviews here and I don't get why this site gets such a bad wrap. I have been a member for almost a year and have talked with some beautiful girls and am planning on taking a trip to Kiev this winter. I have gotten serious with one woman in particular and I have a feeling that she will treat my son like her own. If you have never dated a woman from a foreign country you won't get it, but when these women ask you how your day was they ask with genuine interest. I can feel the love in each phone call and email between us and that isn't something you can fake. True the site cost more than Match.com or some of those other dating sites but I have spent my whole life with greedy, lying, manipulating American women so now it is time to try something new.
